St Rita’s College was established in 1926 by the Presentation Sisters, St Rita’s College is a prestigious educational institution that recognises two patrons: Nano Nagle, the founder of the Presentation Order, and St Rita of Cascia, the Saint of Impossible Causes, after whom the College is named.

Located in the beautiful Brisbane suburb of Clayfield, St Rita’s College is just 15 minutes away from the bustling CBD and is easily accessible via bus and rail transport. The College boasts a rich history and a commitment to providing its students with a world-class education.

As part of our mission to provide innovative and functional shade solutions to businesses and institutions, we were enlisted by St Rita’s College to develop an eating area for their students. We understood the importance of creating a comfortable and functional space for the students to enjoy their meals while also creating a social space for them to gather and interact.

To achieve this goal, we designed and fabricated ten umbrella canopies using the most advanced water-resistant outdoor awning fabric available on the market. This fabric provides 99% sunblock and is built to withstand the harsh Australian climate. Our canopies not only provide shade but also add a stylish touch to the eating area, elevating the overall aesthetic appeal.

To complete the fit-out, we also custom-made and installed feature tables that were designed to complement the canopies perfectly. Our team of skilled craftsmen dressed and lacquered the tables to ensure that they were durable and would last for years to come.
